Taylor and Adam had a beautiful outdoor wedding at Muscatatuck Park on November 14, 2020. With a small elopement, the vibes were intimate and relaxed with the people they love the most! They even got to hike through the park together for some really amazing wedding pictures. Follow along on their wedding day journey for some beautiful scenery, a gorgeous bride and her honey..
How did you feel in your dress on your wedding day?
I felt absolutely beautiful. Prior to going to dress shopping I was looking at the Instagram page for the shop. I found THE dress online and showed my best friend while we were sitting by the fountain at our college. We both loved it. As soon as we got to Sophia’s I found the dress immediately. It was the first I had tried on and knew it was the one. It made me feel confident and like a bride.
What was your partner’s reaction when they first saw you?
We always joked about if he would cry because he doesn’t really ever express when he does. As soon as I came down the stairs he immediately started crying and my dad said “Look, he’s crying because you’re so beautiful.” That’s what got me.
What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
My wedding changed SO much from what I had envisioned. We had set it for May of 2020 but of course Corona hit and that changed everything. Finally, we decided to do a small elopement with just our families. It was such a beautiful, fun, and intimate ceremony with the people that I truly cared the most about. Our photographer chose where we were going to be married. Someone had carved a heart in the rock in the perfect placement, above our heads. It truly made for a picture perfect moment! On top of that we are sneaker collectors so we wore sneakers for our wedding and we got to hike through the park for our pictures. It was a blast going through places I probably wouldn’t have been able to in heels!
What piece of advice would you give brides planning their wedding?
There may be some push and shove from your family members but remember, it’s you and your significant other’s day. Do what you dream of doing and what makes you happy. You’ll hear that from everyone and everything but it truly is the best advice I was ever given.
Did you go on a honeymoon?
Not yet, we are waiting to see how the pandemic goes. However, when we do we are hoping to go out west.

How was your experience with Sophia’s?
Sophia’s was absolutely fantastic. I came in around three days after the new owner took over and the name change. I was greeted with open arms and happy smiles. The ladies helped me find my perfect dress and help try on different styles just in case the first one was just a fluke which I very much appreciated. After trying on the first one again everyone was in tears, including the consultant which made me feel so cared for. I cannot recommend Sophia’s enough!
