In the beginning, it was your typical love story, boy meets girl, boy falls inlove with girl, girl takes her time before discovering, she too is in love with the boy. Laura met her husband, when she was just 12 years old. Over the years, he would attempt to take her on dates, with no luck. Laura, saw him more as a best friend, until finally she said yes. They fell in love and went on to own their own paddle boarding business.
Eventually, Nathan would try his luck at the next commitment, proposing to the love of his life. Again, it began like any proposal. It was the morning of December 1st. Nathan met with Laura’s parents, to ask for permission to marry their daughter. His plan was to ask her the following week….well plans change. He arrived at Laura’s house shortly after meeting with her parents, she was blissfully unaware and sound asleep. He woke her up and popped the question! He had purchased the engagement ring from Gold Casters Jewelery, in Bloomington, obviously, he was prepared.
Nathan and Laura had a short engagement because their business is busiest during the summer months so they decided to say I do, in April of this year. This was a small destination wedding with 11 of their closest family and friends. They got married in Anna Maria Island, off the coast of Florida. It was such a beautiful ceremony. Once they came back to Indiana, They had a reception with all their family and friends.
Laura loved her Sophia’s Dress and even did some of her pictures, IN the ocean! (Gasp!) Don’t worry, her dress held up perfectly once it was dry cleaned. She and Nathan were able to wear their wedding attire again, at their Indiana reception.
She shared some of her beautiful images with us. We kinda want to be at the beach now, but we totally love seeing our brides in their dream dress!
