So, when should you start?
To allow enough time and less stress in your life, you should start your gown search no less than 8 to 10 months before your wedding date. This will allow time for your gown to come in, which can take 4 to 6 months, and it will also allow the 3 month time frame that is needed for your fittings and alterations. It’s good to be on top of it when it comes to your dress, since this is an important part of the process.
So when he pops the question, start your research (even though we know you started way before that!).
Research
Figure out what you think you will like and what you would love to see yourself in. Having an idea of what you’re looking for before you walk into the bridal salons, will make it easier for you to describe to your stylist and in turn easier for your stylist to pick your dream dress. Don’t forget your budget. Before you start shopping, go in with a budget in mind and what you are willing to pay for your perfect dress.
