One of my favorite things about being part of the Sophia’s team, is the stories of real brides. Not only hearing them, but being part of their story. Watching a bride try on her dream dress and discovering the one, is something words cannot truly describe. Today, I want to introduce the world to a real Sophia’s Bride. Kelsey got married this past October, looking stunning in her dress by Essence of Australia. Last week, I had the pleasure of hearing how Kelsey’s trip down the aisle went…
Q: What would your # 1 tip for a bride in planning mode be?
A: Try not to stress. Make sure to have a good support network and stay organized.
Q: How long were you in full force wedding planning and did you hire a planner?
A: 1.5 years of really planning. No, I didn’t hire a planner. However, it would have been much easier while I was in Grad School. My family helped a bunch along the way.
Q: Was there something that went wrong on your big day? If so, what was the fix?
A: It rained. The ceremony was outside in a covered area, but it was still effected. For sure plan to have alternate ceremony space, just in case.
Q: Where was your venue?
A: Washington Township Pavilion
Q: How many bridesmaids and groomsmen?
A: 5 on my side, 5 on his side. We also had our grandmothers as the flower girls. (UH. Can we say we LOVE this idea?!)
