A dream wedding in the Grand Cayman

Working with brides to create the perfect dress for their perfect wedding day is a dream! And it is so special to see the bride and groom’s personality shine through in the planning AND on their wedding day!

In Ashley’s words…

 As most little girls do, I had always dreamed of having a HUGE fairy tale wedding.  I wanted roses everywhere, a massive cake with a fountain, and of course the most beautiful Cinderella wedding dress. Fast forward to getting engaged my taste has changed just a bit… we wanted a small, private ceremony with a few close friends and immediate family followed by a big reception with everyone, because the party is the best part, am I right?!

One night, as we were getting ready for bed, we were discussing our upcoming trip to the Cayman islands.  LIGHT BULB ! Let’s get married in Grand Cayman!! We both LOVED the idea and began our research the next day.  We called, e-mailed, messaged all the wedding planners we could find trying to get information and book someone to marry us.  FINALLY the stars aligned, prayers were answered, God’s good graces fell upon us and were able to get a photographer and wedding officer literally 3 days before we left on our trip! We cannot thank Desiree at Island Weddings and Events Ltd enough for pulling it all off and planning the most beautiful beach wedding on 7-Mile Beach.

 Of course we are still going to have our reception.  We can’t wait to celebrate with all our friends and family…and I’m excited I get to wear my dream dress TWICE !! 🙂 But I am SO glad we were able to have our wedding OUR way. 10/10 recommend ditching your planned ceremony and getting married on an island!
