What is a bridal sample sale? and should I shop a bridal sample sale?

As a special order bridal boutique, most of our brides try on our wedding dress samples in store, fall in love, and then we order a brand new wedding dress to best fit their measurements and customizations! This can take 3-8 months and start at around $1500!

Multiple times a year, Sophia’s Bridal and Tux hosts sample sales

Sample sales are when we discount different styles of sample gowns, and you get to take your dress home the same day, vs. a special order wait time!  These sales are always super fun, fast paced, and lots of celebrating!  When your perfect dress is in your perfect size and ready for you – its FATE!

So, what’s a sample dress?

Sample gowns are the styles you usually see on display when you arrive at a bridal boutique. They are for you to try on and get a feel for if you love the style!

Can I always buy a sample gown?

For most of our locations, these are ONLY available for special sale events! Our Columbus, Indiana boutique is exclusively in-stock wedding dresses and always has discounts available on certain styles.

How much do sample gowns cost?

Great question, and we’re here for you and your bridal budget (we love a good deal.) Samples can range from 20-80% off depending on the sale! Any other sample sale questions? Leave them below!
