From just being friends to a surprise lakeside engagement to a gorgeous garden wedding, this wonderful couple let love grow.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

They met 14 years ago at their local bowling alley. Taylor described their history saying, “We were both bowling in our youth league at the time. We became good friends and 5 years later he took me out on our first date where he asked me to be his girlfriend. We have been together for 9 years now!”

HOW HE POPPED THE QUESTION

Taylor was completely blown away by the proposal. She said, “He popped the question at Eagle Creek Park. He told me we were going hiking for the day to just get some fresh air. I guess he had planned everything, down to the exact spot where he would ask. He asked me in front of the lake and across the lake he hired photographers to photograph the entire proposal. It was truly special!”

WHERE TWO BECAME ONE

Taylor and AJ said their vows and celebrated their wedding with family and friends on May 25th, 2019 at Avon Gardens.

CHERISHED MOMENTS

Taylor had two wonderful moments she had to share with us! She did a first look with her dad, describing it as “…truly a special moment to have shared with him before he walked my down the aisle!”

She also shared that she, “loved walking down the aisle and seeing my handsome groom staring at me with the biggest smile on his face. It was like we were the only 2 people there. It was truly a special moment for us both because that was the first time of him seeing me.”

TIPS FOR FUTURE COUPLES

Her advice for couples getting ready to celebrate their own big day was to “let the little imperfections of the day go. Things will go wrong on your special day, but the key is to not let them bring you down. Just remember, at the end of the day, you are getting to marry your best friend and soulmate. Things will not go to plan, but after all is said and done, you won’t remember those little hiccups that occurred!”
