What was your grooms reaction to seeing you for the first time in your wedding dress?

His reaction was something I will never forget! I am not the type of person to say this, but I had never felt more beautiful than I did in that moment. We both cried a little bit but nothing prepared us for how emotional we were when I walked down the aisle!

What piece of advice would you give brides planning now?

I know a lot of brides must be struggling right now with the uncertainty we are facing – one of my best friends had to have a private wedding and is planning for a celebration later on. My advice would be to just focus on each other. You are getting married so that you can spend your life together. That’s what’s most important. We had a more traditional wedding, but by no means did that mean that our marriage was more blessed. Those who love and support you will love and support you through anything, regardless of the circumstance or if they have to wait to celebrate you! The best thing you can do is lean into your soon-to-be husband, breathe, and look forward to a beautiful life together.

What was your favorite detail/element of your wedding?

That’s so tough! I think my favorite detail included in the wedding was being able to have a time to take communion and pray with my husband. It was the one moment we could really slow down and take in the reality of what was happening.
