Morgan and Kyle’s story began with an awkward setup by mutual friends, which eventually led to a sweet surprise proposal on a bridge overlooking the Indianapolis Canal!

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

“A mutual friend of ours in college thought Kyle and I should meet so my roommates and his roommates who were friends prior to college set up a date for all of us to go get ice cream where Kyle and I would meet for the first time. It was extremely awkward and we didn’t say a word to each other due to our friends making it an uncomfortable situation. However, later that evening Kyle texted me and asked if he could take me on a coffee date the following week. We had a 3 hour longer coffee date and the rest is history!”

HOW HE POPPED THE QUESTION

While Morgan’s family was in town visiting, Kyle arranged for the group to walk the canal. Morgan’s sister then suggested that the couple pose for a photo together, and then…. “He led me up the bridge, pretended like we were just taking pictures, then turned to me and proposed. Kyle said he wanted to propose there because it was the same place, 2 years prior, he realized he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me.”

WHERE TWO BECAME ONE

Morgan and Kyle were married on May 26th, 2018 at the Sycamore at Mallow Run. This venue has a rustic and elegant venue amidst vineyards and natural elements. Inside this venue gives off a warm natural feel with its cedar timbers and natural stone. On the outside, you see gorgeous vineyards and native trees surrounding you.

“Getting to spend time as a husband and wife with our friends and family during the reception. We had an outdoor area during our reception and the weather was beautiful and the atmosphere was dreamy and relaxed, so and the time going around spending time with our loved ones was unforgettable. At that point the pressure and chaos of the wedding was gone which only made it better.”
